If you haven't already had a free Bluethumb Pro trial, you can still sign up and get the first 15 days free. However, please note - if you wish to enter the People's Choice Art Prize, you will be automatically billed for the 1st month ($29) subscription as a condition of entry, billing will occur from when you submit your first entry.

Can I cancel my Bluethumb Pro Subscription on a free trial and still enter the art prize?

You can cancel your free trial subscription within the 15 day period and not be billed for the 1st month. However, your entry into the 2024 Peoples Choice Art Prize will be revoked.

You can also cancel your non-trial Bluethumb Pro subscription during the prize period as per normal. Again, any entries you have submitted into the 2024 Peoples Choice Art Prize will be revoked.

Please note, cancelling your subscription is effective immediately and all Pro Plan access will be revoked at the time of cancelation.

Yes, if you've had a free trial before but don't currently have an active subscription, you can still sign up and enter the prize.

How many works can I enter?

Artists are able to enter up to 5 artworks of their choice that have been uploaded to their Bluethumb account since 1st Jan 2024.

Does the work have to be exclusive to Bluethumb?

The artwork must be exclusively available on Bluethumb throughout the Prize Period and until 31st May 2024. This is to ensure that our collectors can vote for their favourite artwork and for you to benefit from the additional marketing campaigns that will be in place.

Any artwork sold off the Bluethumb platform during these dates will be disqualified from the Prize.

Will there be a winners exhibition?

The People’s Choice Art Prize is an online only event. This means voting will occur online and no physical artworks will be required for any physical exhibitions.

Do favourites count to voting?

Favourites do not count - only votes placed through the voting page during the voting period will count towards the final tally.

Can I sell the work I have entered?

To qualify, the artwork must be available for purchase at the time you enter the prize. If the the work then sells through Bluethumb during the entry and voting period, the work is still eligible to win. Any works sold off Bluethumb's site during the whole prize period will be disqualified.

Is the annual Bluethumb Art Prize still being held this year?

The People's Choice Art Prize is a new, smaller prize that is different to our annual Bluethumb Art Prize. Dates for our annual prize will be announced later in 2024.

I entered my artwork into the prize, but I can't see it on the voting page?

Only Bluethumb Pro subscribers are eligible to enter the People's Choice Art Prize. If you've entered an artwork, and can't see it on the voting page, ensure you are subscribed to a Bluethumb Pro plan by going to the Billing section of your account.

Once subscribed to a Bluethumb Pro plan, your artwork will appear in the voting page for collectors to see and vote.

Note: You will still be able to download a share tile for an artwork without a Bluethumb Pro Subscription, but your artwork will not be seen on the voting page, nor will it be eligible to enter or win.
