Below is a comprehensive guide to help you understand how to use gift vouchers effectively and what to do if you missed applying one.

Overview of Gift Voucher Usage

Gift vouchers are designed to be applied at the time of checkout. Once an order is finalized, the payment method selected during checkout is used, and gift vouchers cannot be applied retroactively.

Applying Gift Vouchers During Checkout

To ensure your gift voucher is applied correctly:

  1. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.

  2. Enter your gift voucher code in the designated field before completing the payment.

  3. Confirm that the voucher has been applied to your order total before finalizing the purchase.

Options for Orders Placed Without a Voucher

If you placed an order without applying your gift voucher, the only option will be to

Cancel the Order:

  1. If the order is still pending and eligible for cancellation: we can cancel the order, issue a full refund, make the work available again so you can place a new order and apply the gift voucher during checkout.

  2. If the order has shipped or not eligible for cancellation: the Bluethumb Team will need to individually asses your case and see if there are any options available. Please not they may not be able to assist in resolving, and the voucher may not be redeemable agains that order.

Limitations of Gift Voucher Application

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used as partial payment for an order that has already been placed.

  • They must be applied during the checkout process and cannot be added to an order retroactively.

  • Refunds on Gift Vouchers are made to the original payment method used to purchase the voucher, not the holder of the voucher.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your gift voucher is applied correctly and avoid any inconvenience. If you encounter any issues, Bluethumb support is available to assist you.
