Here's how it affects an artist's payment (with an example for clarity).

Example artwork price - $2000 (shipping $100 included)

Art Money - Art Money charges 10% commission/sale to the seller ($200 in this case). This $200 split between BT and the artist 30/70 so it's not passed on to the artist in full.

Artworks are shipped immediately and artist payments are made on time (7 days after delivery). There's no delay in shipping or payment to the artist.

Here's how the payment breakdown works in this case -
------------------------------------------------------------
Total artwork value - $2000
Shipping - $100
Art Money commission - $200
BT's commission (30%+GST of $1700) = $561
Artist's payout - $1,139.
------------------------------------------------------------

Afterpay and Zip - These two services charge a fee of 5% to the seller per order. If one of these are used, artworks are shipped immediately and payments are made 7 days after delivery as normal.

There's no delay in payment to the artist.

Here's how the payment breakdown works in this case -

------------------------------------------------------------
Total artwork value - $2000
Shipping - $100
Afterpay/Zip commission - $100
BT's commission (30%+GST of $1800) = $594
